Activating battery's monitor with a notebook.

This resource is present only on the MM-GL RC1 version and newest versions.

If you use notebook it must be necessary a battery monitor use.

To activate it, follow these steps:

1) Open DCP and click on Services. Then, enable the item ( )acpid pressing the space bar to activate it.

2) Reboot the machine or open the terminal and type:

sudo /etc/init.d/acpid start


This proceeding can be made on a Live CD session too. In this case, do not reboot the machine, just begin the
service through terminal as described.

3) Click with the right mouse bottom on the task bar and choose Add Item.







4) Search for the Battery-Monitor item:

5) On the dialog box, choose the options you want or just accept the default settings.






At this moment the system begins to monitorate the notebook's battery status.
