If you use DL Multimedia GL RC3 or upper releases, follow this new tutorial:

Creating, adding or removing icons on Engage:

To create an icon on Engage, open the Engage-Options dialog and click on the first option:

Then, fill up the fields as follows:

1) Application name. For instance: Abiword or Azureus.

2) Executable name, i.e., the command that executes the application, e.g:
azureus, abiword, ooo-writer, amsn, etc.

3) Look for an icon ( preferably 128x128 pixels ). A good place to look for is in the folder /usr/share/icons,
although you can use any other image you wish.

4) Click on create icon.

Automatically the icon will be created in the proper folder ( .engage/icons).

To show it on Engage dock, though, you´ll have to choose the second option of the Engage-Options dialog.
Doing so the Mousepad Text Editor will open the text file that contains the name of the icons to appear on Engage.
Just add the name of the icon, followed by the .eap extension, in the correct order you wish the icon to show on
Engage, i.e., the top icon will be the first to the left and so on.

Commenting or uncommenting ( placing or deleting "#" ) allows you to hide or show, respectively, the icons on Engage.

Save and close the file. Engage will then reflect the changes, showing the new icon.
